Hello, Goodbye.

It's official* A new year has begun! Well... for me anyway. Goodbye 21, Hello 22.

Over the past few months i've made some huge decisions that will impact me and make sure my 22nd year will start off with a bang! ;)

In the mean time, i've been reflecting on the passing year. Here's some of the life lessons that I've learned while 21.

*Take time to recognize and appreciate the little things in life. - I live for micro pleasures.

*Always remember to take that extra 10 mins to do something special for a friend. 

*Respond quickly to emails / messages from others - it clears up a lot of unwanted "to do's"

*Make lists ! - crossing things off feels amazing.

*You cannot control anything except your emotions. 

*Quality always wins over quantity. 

*If you don't do it for yourself, no one is going to do it for you. 

*Things are made to be used. - never put anything over people. 

*I can be a morning person. (With the help of coffee of course!) 

*Family & Friends deserve the "best you". 

*You really can have it all - you just have to work hard for it. 

*When your honest and upfront you feel a lot better then letting something dwell on you. 

*You really can "fake it till ya make it."

*Somethings are better left broken, don't try and pick up the pieces- you really could get cut. 

*You're only as good as your latest "post". 

*Money is weird and confusing. 

*You really shouldn't stay with someone just because you're scared to see them with someone else. 

*Just book it. you'll find a way you make it work.  

*Bills were made to be broken. 

*I'm supposed to travel and be free until I know without a doubt what I want. 

May your coming year be filled with magic, dreams & good madness. I hope you read some fine books & kiss someone who thinks you're wonderful, & don't forget to make some art - write or draw or build or sing or live as only you can; & I hope, somewhere in the next year, you surprise yourself.  ( Neil Gaiman )
