My Little Lita Nightmare ... :)

It's no surprise that I absolutely love heels! Being a mere 5'2 I'm always looking for that extra height boost. I always go right to the shoe department at Nordstrom / Holt Renfrew to check out all the new styles.

A picture says everything, so here's a sample of some of my all time favorite sky high heels.

The top left pair are surprisingly the most comfortable on!

Now with that being said ... I have a little story for you. :)  Let me take you back two months ago …   My best girlfriends and I had planned a night out in the city. With winter creeping up it was totally the perfect opportunity to show off the Lita's. Sky high, boot with sparkle. love it ! 

We were having an awesome night, taking loads of pictures and having a laugh and boom! all in one step I rolled my ankle right off my 5' heels ! (OUCH! to say the least) With some liquid courage in my system I didn't notice the extent of my injury until the morning.Nothing like waking up to a beautiful big, Puffy, Ankle! 

Long story short the ligament was pulled, and that would be the end of heels for a while. :( 

Who knew such a heartache could end up with fantastic new discoveries. Lead me right into the wonderful world of loafers :D

My favorites are the Teal Jeffrey Campbell. The bold color and fun embellishments make any stroll around town an adventure.  I have had more compliments from more people on my fabulous footwear that I could ever count!  Who knew?   

Moral of the story… You can be just as fabulous and cute in flats! :)
