VISION BOARD //

Vision board - Poised to help motivate you to reach your goals and dreams given the time frame you set for yourself.

A vision board is a definite “must have” in life ! I was enlightened to the idea thru “The Secret” (amazing book) and it stuck with me. I believe in the power of visualization so much. And I have things in my life that have come to fruition through the power of my vision board.

This is my vision board !! <3 love it *

The idea behind visualization is that when you surround yourself with images of who you want to become, what you want to have, where you want to live, or where you want to vacation, your life changes to match those images and those desires.

I have had a vision board for the past 4 years and I cannot tell you how much its changed my life. I put mine right on a wall in my bedroom. Everyday when I wake up I am reminded of what I want in life.

At first I felt weird with this huge cork board full if images that spoke my deepest dreams and desires. My “I Wants”, my wishes for my family, my life. All posted in full color for all the world to see. My friends would stop and stare...and I would shyly say...that’s my vision board. Fast forward a few years and as my dreams are becoming reality, I get more and more excited at the possibilities. I encourage all my friends to adopt this way of thinking and motivation.
I’m so comfortable with myself and being open about where i see myself. I'm proud to show it off.

Why not shoot for the stars ? … find out exactly what you would love to experience and force yourself to see it everyday… make your destiny happen.

Here are some tips to get started:
When you start assembling your board find pictures that appeal to your deepest self. Unleash one of the most powerful forces on our planet: human imagination.
Scroll through the internet to find photographs that best describe how you see and feel your life in the future.

You can start with something simple like a question. In five years I see myself...or in one year I see myself...
For example: "I want to travel the world".
Narrow it down to your top 4 ultimate places; Australia, Greece, Bora Bora, Paris. Find a picture of the globe and place your top five destinations photos around the picture of our planet earth.

To find great pictures I look on weheartit.com, tumblr.com, Pinterst,  Photobucket.com, Google image...just to name a few. You can also look thru magazines or newspapers.

Another thing I love seeing on my vision board is a check I've written to myself. Go ahead and try it. Fill in a blank check and make it out to yourself. Remember, money is no object!

Suggestions for Images:
• College / University you would love to go to.
• Your dream job.
Your dream vacation
• An experience you would love to do (ex. Skydiving)
• Fall in love
• Beautiful wedding
• Big family, with lots of kids
• Be financially stable
• Front-row tickets to the hottest band
• Own a pair of Louboutin's
• Have a star on Hollywood blvd
• Meet your biggest inspiration
• Reach goal weight
• a brand-new car
• traveling the world

Im just naming off a few things that hopefully spark the inspiration inside you. Just remember the sky the limit. There’s nothing you can’t do or have in your life!
