Jan Taminiau : Becoming one of the greats //*

Born in the Netherlands in 1975, Jan Taminiau is an Avavt Garde designer sure to shake up the high fashion runway. In 2003 he launched his own label JANTAMINIAU. With great success in Paris he then moved to New York. Im sure by now you've noticed how much I adore shoes ! … I find myself falling in love with a whimsical new pair every so often. It came to no surprise, when my heart skipped a beat upon seeing Jan Taminiau's heelless heels. All I can say is...absolute beauties !

The more I look into his work, I've come to realize, how much I've already seen of him. I just had no idea that it was ALL the same fabulous designer. Taminiau is way underrated if you ask me.  However with two bold celebs like Gaga and Beyonce he's sure to catch on fire any moment. His vision is becoming a fascinating reality.
It would be a dream come true to rock on of his dresses on the red carpet !… actually scratch that ... to just hold a piece of his work, or try on a jacket fully embellished would be more then enough for me. :)

"I definitely think it a beautiful gesture to dress up for someone; its a gesture of love." - Jan Taminiau

"His work is exuberant and unique. Mixes together delicate and strong concepts of femininity. His clothes are meant for bold women who enjoy being outrageously charming."

"The basis of my work is always the same: I am always translating the asymmetrical mirror of life. I place everything I do in daily life in my own personal context. This is reflected in my work, in the romantic and nostalgic themes that emerge in every new collection, and my love for technology and craftsmanship. Even though this concept is manifested differently in each new collection, the basis always remains the same. The basis is dogmatic, the process is organic." - Jan Taminiau

  4. "Batman Monopoly" would be the classic game of real estate, but uses playing pieces within the shapes with the Batman symbol, a diamond, Robin's motorcycle
and also the Bat mobile. Earlier, PS3 users had to use a Netflix supplied disc for streaming.
