How to be Adored

If hotbynight could write a book it would resemble the work of Caroline Cox's "How to be Adored".  I came across this little treasure a couple months ago and have already read it twice! The fun facts and beauty tips in this book are fabulous and adorable.
When I first laid eyes on this book, I knew I had to own it.  Not sure if it was the bright pink velvet design on the cover or the table of contents that read; Glamour on the inside, Channelling Chic.
From the pictures she used, to describe the topics covered, each page had something new and interesting. Not to mention the vast variety of quotes and tips from past icons.
I could go on and on about what a fabulous read "How to be Adored" is... just take my word for it.  Go out and pick up a copy for yourself. Well worth it! - It inspired me to keep my dream alive of one day writing my own book one day ;)

You should get out of those wet clothes and into a dry martini - Mae West

Elizabeth Taylor's Apple Martini
Take:
1 measure vodka
1 measure apple schnapps
2 tablespoons apple juice
Pour into an ice-filled cocktail shaker,
Shake then serve into a martini glass.

Caroline Cox's thoughts on the latest styles and timeless trends were so refreshing.  Polite but edgy, and honest all at the same time. The research Caroline did for this book definitely paid off because my copy is covered in different colored "post it" notes !
